Rice Crust for casseroles!

This crust can be used for "pot pie", quiche, desserts, "pizza", The sky is the limit.... use your imagination!

Ingredients

RICE

2 1/4 c
boiling water
1 c
white rice (can make it with brown too)
1/2 tsp
salt

ADDITIONS

1 large
egg (beaten very well)
1 tsp
fresh parsley or dill (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Prepare the rice ingredients. Let cool.
3Beat the egg very well. If you want to add herbs do it now.
4Stir the egg into the rice. Mix together well. Press rice mixture into a 9 or 10 inch pie pan.
5Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
6Put your filling of choice into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
7Serve with a salad
