Ingredients
| 2 Tbsp | oil |
| 1 | egg, beaten |
| 1/2 c | milk |
| 2 tsp | sugar |
| 1 tsp | ground cinnamon |
| 1 c | sour cream |
| 1 c | self rising flour |
| 3 | apples, peeled and sliced about 1/4 inch thick |
| powdered sugar |

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the beaten egg, milk, sugar, cinnamon and sour cream. Mix well and add the flour.Heat 2 Tbsp. oil in a large skillet to 375 degrees F. Dip the apples in batter and place in hot oil. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Turn and cook another 1 to 2 minutes.Remove fritters and drain. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm. Enjoy!Told ya they were easy!

I wasn't sure what self rising flour was, so I looked it up and found this make-it-yourself recipe:
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Now this recipe is even handier for those of us without self rising flour on hand. ;)
Looks great, by the way...and I was impressed that I don't actually have to have a pan full of oil to deep-fry these!
