one thanksgiving we burned some of the pumpkin pie crusts during our baking,instead of tossing them out I came up with this alternative.everyone loved it.

Ingredients

pumpkin pies already baked, chopped up into pieces
2 jar(s)
caramel
2 bag(s)
gingersnaps crushed
1 jar(s)
whipped cream, sweetened

Directions Step-By-Step

chop into pieces already baked whole pumpkin pies lining the bottom of a trifle bowl.enough to cover the bottom

heat caramel, pouring over pumpkin (should be like ribbons)

cover with a layer of crushed ginger snaps, adding more ribbons of caramel,
alternate the layers until the top cover with whipped cream or cool whip and chill until ready to serve
