This is a recipe that my mom used when they didn't have much but milk and sugar and flour. There are several recipes that I found on-line but finally found her old recipe. This is simple but very tasty.

Ingredients For poor man's pie

1/4 cupall purpose flour

2 cupsmilk

1 cupsugar

1 tsp.vanilla extract

dashsalt
How To Make poor man's pie

1Have a pie crust prepared.

2Cook over heat all the above ingredients except the vanilla. When the mixture thickens, add vanilla and pour into pie crust.

3Let cool and serve with Cool Whip.
