Now that the holidays are quickly approaching, my pie business is picking up and this pie is in demand! Pecan pie really is easy to make and SO rich and delicious. This is my recipe...I hope you like it. I only add the brandy if I know someone wants it. I think it's scrumptious either way!

Ingredients For pleasin' pecan pie

  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c
    dark corn syrup
  • 1/3 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla (extract or bean)
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 c
    pecans, whole

How To Make pleasin' pecan pie

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

    Stir together eggs, brown sugar, corn syrups, butter, butter, vanilla, and salt.

    Stir in chopped nuts and pour into pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on top of pie in a concentric pattern.

    Bake for about 90 mins until filling is just set. If nuts are getting too dark, cover with foil tent.
