Pinto Bean Pie (Imitation Pecan)
pinto beans, cooked and mashed( i used refried beans)
1 1/2 c
butter, room temperature

unbaked pie shell
1Melt butter; cream with sugar.
2Add eggs, vanilla and mashed beans.
3Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until firm.

This pie sounds good. Will have to try it. I posted a bean pie on this site using navy beans, which is also good. Someone suggested adding pecans to the pie. This sounds like a good idea to me.
