Perfect Pie Crust Promise! Cast Iron Skillet Pie
I also used a cast iron skillet for one of the pies. Worked like a dream! Nice big pie and the crust was perfect in that one too. I will use the iron skillet from now on!
Add the flour,salt,water,sugar and cinnamon. Blend until mixed.
Kneed it just until it forms a ball, dont over work it.
Cover edges of pie crust with foil so they dont over bake.
I had left over crust, so, we made cinnamon treats. Roll the left over dough out and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and sugar. Roll up jelly roll fashion and slice into pinwheels. Yum!
