Ingredients

2/3 c
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
unflavored gelatin
1 dash(es)
salt
1 3/4 c
milk

slightly beaten egg yolks
2 Tbsp
butter
1 tsp
vanilla

egg whites
2 Tbsp
granulated sugar
1/2 c
crushed peanut brittle
1/2 c
whipping cream, whipped

9 inch baked pastry shell, cooled

Step-By-Step

1In saucepan, combine brown sugar, gelatin, and salt.
Stir in milk and egg yolks.
2Cook and stir over medium heat till gelatin dissolves and mixture thickens slightly.
Add butter and vanilla.
Chill, stirring occasionally, till partially set.
3Beat egg whites to soft peaks; gradually add sugar; beat to stiff peaks. Fold in gelatin mixture, peanut brittle, and whipped cream.
4Chill till mixture mounds.
Pile into cooled pastry shell; chill till firm.
