Ingredients For peanut brittle pie

2/3 cbrown sugar

1 Tbspunflavored gelatin

1 dashsalt

1 3/4 cmilk

2slightly beaten egg yolks

2egg whites

2 Tbspgranulated sugar

1/2 ccrushed peanut brittle

1/2 cwhipping cream, whipped

19 inch baked pastry shell, cooled
How To Make peanut brittle pie

1In saucepan, combine brown sugar, gelatin, and salt. Stir in milk and egg yolks.

2Cook and stir over medium heat till gelatin dissolves and mixture thickens slightly. Add butter and vanilla. Chill, stirring occasionally, till partially set.

3Beat egg whites to soft peaks; gradually add sugar; beat to stiff peaks. Fold in gelatin mixture, peanut brittle, and whipped cream.

4Chill till mixture mounds. Pile into cooled pastry shell; chill till firm.
