Ingredients

8 medium
ripe peeled sliced peaches. next 6 ingredients are the filling.
1/4 c
packed brown sugar
1/4 c
granulated white sugar
3 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
salt

CRUMBLE TOPPING

3 Tbsp
cold butter cut into small pieces
1/3 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/3 c
chopped pecans or walnuts, optional

single layer pie shell. i use frozen 9 inch deep dish.

Step-By-Step

1Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking pan with foil. Peel, pit and slice your peaches into a large bowl.
2Top the peaches with the filling ingredients and mix together well. Pour peach mixture into your prepared pie shell. Place on foil lined baking sheet.
3Prepare your topping mixture, except for nuts, with a fork in a small bowl. Add the nuts to the topping last. Sprinkle topping evenly over peaches.
4Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes until peaches are bubbling and topping is browned. Cool on a rack. Store leftovers in refrigerator tightly wrapped.
