This has been passed down through the generations and is always requested during the holidays. It is super rich, so a little dab will do ya!. I have nick named this the "stroke" pie. A 1/2 of a slice is what I do when I give in, lol. Ingredients For osgood pie

  • 3 c
    sugar, granulated
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    allspice
  • 3 stick
    butter, not margarine
  • 5
    eggs, whole
  • 1 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    raisins, dark
  • 2
    pie shells, deep dish

How To Make osgood pie

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in order listed. Pour into both pie shells. Place uncooked pies on a cookie sheet.

    Bake until firm crust forms on their tops. (will not move when you slightly shake them). Bake about 65 minutes, but time may vary depending on your oven. Some take longer. I would start checking on it at about 40 minutes.
