I love to cook and my boyfriend loves sweet potatoe pies which I never make. I felt awful when he actually paid someone to make 2 for him last Thanksgiving so I'm looking for the perfect receipe to try and will let him do the taste of test. Thanks so much for sharing Taymi.

I made these pies last night and the batter was VERY tasty. Personally I have never been a big fan of sweet potato pies unless they were made by my grandmother who use to put lemon juice in hers. I ended up with white fleshed sweet potatoes so was a little afraid how this would come out. I also melted my butter a little too much and discovered I had to bake my pies approx 15-20 minutes longer. Mr. Taste Tester will be here for dinner later and I will let you know what we both think after we try these after dinner.
