Dana Moore's Notes:

I had some leftover biscuits and didn't want to waste them but I didn't want to make cold biscuit pudding either. So I decided to experiment and came up with the following recipe. At first I didn't know what to call it but then my husband said it taste kinda like Caramel pie. So, I thought the perfect name for it would be Mock Caramel Pie. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Directions

1
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Crumble biscuits in medium sized baking dish.
2
In a medium sauce pan over medium high heat, stirring constantly, bring evaporated milk, butter, brown sugar and cream to a rolling boil. Reduce heat to medium and continue to boil for 1 minute stirring constantly.
3
Pour mixture evenly over biscuits. You may need to let your biscuits "soak" for a few minutes. Bake in oven for about 20 minutes or until bubbly. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.

Hey Patricia, I'm not real sure but evaporated milk only comes in 2 sizes, a small can and a large can. But I think it might be 5 ounces.
