Ingredients

6 c
granny smith apples, cored, sliced and divided
1/3 c
orange juice
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
3/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c
sugar
3/4 c
flour
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 c
oats, regular
1/2 c
pecans, chopped
3/4 c
butter, melted

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 325 degree's. I use either glass or non-stick pan (8 X 11). Butter the bottom and sides of pan.
Place one-half of the sliced apples in the pan.
2Mix orange juice and vanilla, pour one-half of this mixture of the apples. Mix the dry ingredients and sprinkle one-half of this mixture over the apples. Add remaining apples, sprinkle with remaining liquids and remaining dry ingredients, making sure that the apples are completely covered.
3Bake for 90 minutes or until bubbly and slightly golden.
