Lemon Chess Pie

Very simple,southern favorite.
I like lemons,so I adapted it with extra lemon juice cause it perks up your mouth. :)

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
cornstarch
1 Tbsp
lemon zest, grated
4 large
eggs
1/2 c
lemon juice, fresh
1 stick
butter, melted and cooled
1
unbaked pie crust

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl,combine the sugar,cornstarch and lemon zest.Whick in the eggs,1 at a time.Stir in the lemon juice and butter and blend thoroughly
2Pour the egg mixture into the pie shell and bake until the top is lightly browned and the center sets,20-25 minutes.
3Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.

Slice and serve.
