Home made Apple Pie Filling

- sliced apples set aside in salt water
- 8 c
- 6 c
- 1 c
- 1 stick
- 1 Tbsp
- apple pie spice
1Put apples in salt water and set aside. Prepare canning jars for canning.
2Bring remaing ingredients to a boil in a large stainless saucepan. Fill jars with apples add water mixture to just over top leaving apporiate headspace.
3Wipe jars add lids and rings. Put in hot water bath canner and process for 20 minutes. Remove from water and let stand until you hear the "ding" of the lids sealing jars.
4When ready to make pie pour contents in to unbaked deep dish crust and bake for 45-50 mintues. (contents will be thin when poured into crust but will thicken after baking
