These pies freeze very well,, I always keep one on hand in case company comes and I need something fast :)
This is a family favorite.
Great for parties :)

Ingredients

20 oz
can undrained pineapple chunks
16 oz
pitted sweet cherries
1 1/4 c
sugar
1/4 c
flour
3 oz
box of orange jello
1 c
chopped pecans
4-6 medium
bananas
1/2 c
shredded coconut
2
baked pie shells
12 oz
cool whip

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Combine: Flour,sugar & undrained pineapple together in a large pan.
Bring to a boil

2Add Jello and stir until dissolved.
Then add drained cherries
Cool 15-20 mins.

3After cooling: add pecans then carefully fold in bananas

Pour into baked pie shells

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate

4Serve with cool whip and top with crushed pecans if desired.
