BAKE AT 450 DEGREES FOR 15 MINUTES THEN REDUCE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 350 DEGREES FOR 35 MINUTES. IF YOUR OVEN RUNS TO HOT OR COOL YOU MAY HAVE TO ADJUST TEMPERATURE FOR YOUR OVEN

1 9' DOUBLE CRUST.OR 2- 9' SHELLS. SIFT FLOUR, SALT& BAKING POWDER TOGETHER. POUR WATER OR MILK OVER SHORTENING AND MIX WITH A FORK TILL CREAMY. ADD FLOUR MIXTURE. MIX TO DOUGH. CHILL. ROLL OUT ON FLOURED SURFACE AND CUT INTO 2 9
pie shells. add pumpkin filling . cook as directed above.
Beat eggs,add sugar,salt, pumpkin,cinnamon, nutmeg,ginger (if desired.) make the melted butter. (In the 1 and three quarters cup hot whole milk*)*Or Diluted Evaporated milk to make whole milk. Add to other Ingredients, stir. pour into pie crust and bake as directed above.
