6large eggs (can substitute 4 whole eggs and 3 egg whites)

6 Tbspbutter (no substitution)

1 1/2 csugar (can substitute splenda)

2 tspground cinnamon

1/2 tspginger
-
1/4 tspground nutmeg
How To Make grandmother van horn's pumpkin pie

1Place pumpkin, butter, sugar and spices in a high-walled pot or skillet. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.

2Remove pumpkin to a large mixing bowl. Mix in the beaten eggs and flour until smooth.

3While still hot, pour into a deep-dish pie plate lined with a flour crust.

4Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 70 minutes.
