This chocolate cream pie recipe belonged to 94 year old Iaeline Jackson. She was the grandmother of a co-worker of mine. My husband's mother's maiden name was Jackson so I'm adopting Mrs. Iaeline into our family as Grandma. She has been making this pie for her family for many many years.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This chocolate cream pie is an old-fashioned recipe just like grandma used to make. It's made with simple ingredients and very easy to prepare. The trick is not letting the chocolate mixture burn. Once cooked, it's thick and creamy. Just the way filling for a chocolate cream pie should be. The light and fluffy meringue on top is tasty and, once toasted, makes the pie beautiful. Perfect for any occasion.
