prepared graham cracker crust
2 bx cook and serve vanilla pudding
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp butter
3 heaping Tbsp smooth peanut butter
whipped topping

Gail's Notes:

When my boys were little I made this pie at least once a month, I never had cream cheese or the chocolate on hand so I came up with this and we loved it,so smooth and creamy and very easy to make. I have never made peanut butter pie any other way

 

Directions

Cook vanilla pudding as directed on the box. Remove from heat and add the vanilla, butter and peanut butter stir until butter and peanut butter are completely melted and pudding is uniform in color. Pour into prepared crust, refrigerate until set. Top with whipped topping

This sounds simple and easy, Gail. Just wondering. Did you use two small boxes of pudding?

Yes Dorothy, I use the small boxes, sometime (like today) I use 3 of them and really make a fat pie,;-)

That is just cool whip with the left over graham cracker crumbs I used for the crust sprinkled on top :-)
