This is a great chocolately spin on pecan pie - I think everyone will really like it!

Ingredients

2
squares of unsweetened chocolate
2 Tbsp
butter, melted
3
eggs
3/4 c
dark karo syrup
1 c
pecan halves

CRUST

1 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
salt
1/3 c
+1 tbsp.butter flavored crisco
2 Tbsp
cold water

Directions Step-By-Step

Blend flour, salt, Crisco with pastry cutter or fork into a mealy consistency. Add water, mix with a fork and mold into a patty. Refrigerate for about 1/2 hour.

Roll into a circle and form into your pie dish. (I spray with no-stick first) Fold under and decorate your edge.

Beat the eggs, add remainder of ingredients. Mix well and stir in nuts. Pour into pie crust and bake at 375 for approx. 45-50 minutes or until set.
Cool before cutting.
