english apple pie w/toasted pecans

I wanted to make a different Apple Dessert, that I had never made before, & this is what I found in my 1967 SOUTHERN LIVING DESSERT COOKBOOK. It really is delicious & so simple & easy to make. I may lessen the amount of sugar used in the recipe next time, but it sure was good. Especially with the toasted pecans on top. This was the first time I had heard of an ENGLISH APPLE PIE. Quick Simple & Easy. The recipe has been around so long they called the margarine OLEO, from years past. I used butter instead as I always do when baking. The addition of Vietnamese Cinnamon adds lots of flavor.
