Cut in flour, salt, and shortening until mixture is crumbly.
add 6 tablespoons of water to start with. Then add little by little until dough forms a small ball. You want the dough to be slightly sticky.
Separate the dough into two sections. Flour board lightly and place first section on the floured surface. Knead twice to form a nice ball.
Repeat with 2nd section.
