Easy Chocolate Cream Pie

- 1/3 c
- plain flour
- 1 c
- 1/4 tsp
- 1/8-1/4 tsp
- cinnamon (optional)
- 1 c
- 2 oz
- grated or chopped unsweetened chocolate (i use the hershy's baking chocolate)
- egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp
- real butter
- 1 tsp
- pure vanilla extract
- oreo cookie crust
- cool whip (or any topping you like)
- chocolate chips, mini
1Mix in heavy bottom sauce pan (2-3 qt. size)
1/3 c. Plain Flour
1 c. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 c. Milk (Stir until smooth)
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium.
Add chocolate and constantly stir for approx. 2 min.
until chocolate is melted and mixture is thickened.
3Beat in a small dish or cup
3 egg yolks (I save the whites for an egg white omelet)
Add a little of the hot chocolate mixture to the yolks and stir thoroughly.
Then add back to pot and cook mixture for another 2 min.
4Remove from heat.
And the optional cinnamon.
Stir until well blended and butter is melted.
5Cool Mixture at room temperature slightly
Pour cooled mixture into an Oreo Cookie Pie Crust
Set aside to further cool then refrigerate until set.
Top with Cool Whip and Mini Chocolate Chips
