How To Make easy cheesy cherry pie

In lg bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Fold in cool whip. Spread cheese mix into pie crust. Top w/ cherry pie filling. Cover, refrigerate 2 hrs to chill. Top w/ extra cool whip if desired.
