How To Make deep dish apple pie (mamie eisenhower)

cut shortening into the flour, add ice water a bit at a time. Blend until proper consistency for pastry. Roll out into 9" circle, fit bottom crust into pan.

Pare and slice apples, place in greased deep dish pie pan. Mix rest of ingredients except butter, and put onto apples. Dot with butter. T
