Creamy Watermelon Pie

No-Cook or Other

I can't remember where I got this recipe from, but it is so easy and refreshing. A great pie for the summer months.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This pie is fruity, fresh and sweet...just what you want in a dessert! Every time I have made this people ask for the recipe! It is truly delightful. It taste like summer with every bite!

NOTE: Be careful not to let the watermelon jello mixture get to room temp because it starts to gel up and the flavor is not as strong. Mix it with the whipped cream as soon as it is dissolved, then I would fold in the watermelon pieces. I also let mine chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Mmmmm....

1 pkg
(3oz.) watermelon jello
1/4 c
boiling water
1 pkg
(12 oz.) cool whip
2 c
cubed seeded watermelon
graham cracker pie crust

Directions Step-By-Step

In large bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water. Cool to room temp.
Whisk in cool whip. Fold in watermelon. Spoon into crust.
Refrigerate 2 hrs, or until set.

Hello again:
I have made this twice for my Life Group ladies and it's now my go to dessert for dinners, parties etc. In fact, I've got one in the fridge as I write this because I've been asked to bring it to a barbeque dinner this evening. I did top mine with more cool whip It's soooo easy and good! Thank you for posting!

I have been making this pie for 2 years, everyone loves it and asks for recipe.

The watermelon pieces make the pie.

Also, I have substituted blue berries or blackberries etc. Just as good. Enjoy.

Very nice and flavorful, but it think next time I'll leave out the actual watermelon pieces. Fantastic pie, just personal preference.
