Ingredients

unbaked deep dish pie crust
1 c
flaked coconut
3
eggs, beaten
2 2/3 c
2% milk
2/3 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
flour
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
nutmeg

Step-By-Step

1Line edges of pie shell with heavy-duty foil and bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes.
2Remove foil and sprinkle coconut over bottom of shell. Lower oven temperature to 350.
3Combine eggs, milk, sugar, flour, vanilla and salt. Pour over coconut and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until it's set in the middle.
