Ingredients

1 1/4 c all purpose flour
3 Tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 c unsalted butter, cold
1/2 tsp salt
Tbsp 3-5 tablespoons ice cold water
Pinched by lfran, and 67 more.

Directions

Combine flour,salt,cocoa powder,and sugar in food processor and pulse to mix.Cut butter into 1/2 inch
pieces,add to mixture and pulse until mixture resembles a coarse meal.Add ice water A Tablespoon at a time,pulsing until dough begins to hold together.

Does dough need to be chilled before rolling? Have you ever pressed the crust into the pan instead of rolling it?

you do not have to chill before rolling and yes you can just press into
the pan if you like.

Thanks. Is it better if you roll it? If so, it may be worth the extra effort. Sounds like a great compliment to many pies!
