Ingredients

1/2 c light karo syrup
2 eggs
1/2 c sugar
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped pecans
3/4 c chocolate chips
1 pie crust shell

Chocolate Pecan Pie is my favorite pie. I dont like the way so may recipes are made and I have never been able to buy one that is true chocolate pecan pie. So I came up with this recipe. My husband doesnt like pie at all but when he tasted this he LOVED it. So now it is made on all holidays.And if he has been a good boy I make it for him on his birthday.

 

Directions

1
Mix all ingredients together except pecan halves. Pour into a pie shell. Top with pecan halves.
When completely cool top with ice cream or cool whip. This is one great recipe and if you love pecan pie like I do you will love this recipe.

Somehow I missed the cooking temp. and baking time on this recipe? Can someone give it to me?

The time listed on the top of the recipe shows 1 hour, but there's no temperature anywhere. If the "normal" temperature for a pecan pie is 350° for 45 minutes, I'm guessing to either do it at that temperature for that time, or at, maybe, 300° for 1 hour. I HAVE to try this recipe. If you have, please let me know what you did, as the poster doesn't seem to be responding, unfortunately. Once I do it, I'll post an update.
