Chocolate Pecan Pie

I have request for this pie before the holidays. I make several and freeze them in advance.

Ingredients

1 pkg
baker's german sweet chocolate
2 Tbsp
butter
1/3 c
sugar
1 c
corn syrup, light or dark
3
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/4 c
pecan halves
1
unbaked pie shell

Step-By-Step

1Microwave chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on high 1 to 2 minutes or until melted, stirring half way.
Do not over melt.
2Stir in sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.
3Bake 50 minutes or untill filling is firm 2 inches from edge. Cool on wire rack.
