Chocolate Chess Pie

The original recipe says to bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F, but I usually have to bake it longer. It's done when you can jiggle it a little and it's somewhat solid.

Just like hot chocolate topping in a solid form. Heavenly!

Ingredients

6 Tbsp
butter, melted
2 1/4 c
sugar
1/3 c
cocoa powder
1 pinch
salt

eggs
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla extract

pie crust shell

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt butter.

combine dry ingredients.

Mix butter into dry ingredients (some say slowly, I find that the butter is greasy enough to prevent clumping)

Add eggs, evaporated milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Pour into pastry.
