1(51/3oz) can(s) evaporateed milk
1/2 c melted butter
2 eggs
31/2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 unbaked pie crust 9-inch

Directions

Mix first 6 ingredients in mixing bowl;beat 1 minute.

Pour into pie crust.

Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 1 hour.

This is a much easier version of a real family favorite! Your version tastes great and is a LOT simpler to put together than my gramma's recipe. Thank You so much for sharing this!

So glad I saw this I used to make it for my kids every holiday when I got a divorce my ex did something with my recipes and I couldn't find this anywhere Its so good and has always been the main desert I was always asked to make. I think it may be different but Ill try it. Thanks!

I make these 2 at a time by doubling the recipe. They are great.If you love choc. you,ll love these. Not to sweet.

I ate dinner at Golden Corral restaurant and i ate some Chocolate Chess Pie, and i fell in love with it, Ive been looking for a recipe so i can make it at home. I think i found it!! I cant wait to try this recipe!!
