For some reason this year I wasn't ready for the holidays. So I didn't really plan have Christmas dinner planned out. I did have an idea about my Christmas Roast but the desserts not really. So, I came up with a fast kind of last minute idea & recipe.
1Frist bring crust to room temperature for about 15 minute or 20 seconds in the microwave. Pre-heat the oven to 425 F. Slowly & carefully unroll the 1st crust over & in the pie dish. Press gentley into the dish. Brush the egg white over the crust with a brush.
2Next open each jar of apple pie filling & slowly pour into the crust. Evenly spread the filling in the crust.
3Then slowly & carefully unroll the top crust over the filling. Pressing the top crust into the bottom one. Trim off extra crust & crimp the edges to make wave like shapes. Then cut little lines in the top of the pie crust.
4Next place the pie dish on a sheet pan. Brush the top of the pie crust with the egg whites & sprinkl with the sugar & cinnamon mix. Place in middle rack of the oven & bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
