cc-c-b pie (like a toll house cooky pie)

This pie was created because I ran out of chocolate chips, only had about 3/4 cup, so I added other ingredients: flaky coconut and one Butterfinger bar broken into pieces. I love the way the layers look and taste! It's sooo good. Took this picture the day after, early a.m. and couldn't resist another taste of it. Yum.

  • THIS WAS A SIMPLE PIE, AND I USED A PREPARED CRUST

    9 inch prepared deep dish pie crust,thawed
  • FILLING:
  • 2
    eggs, beaten until foamy
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    gran. sugar
  • 1/2 c
    lt. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    flaky coconut
  • 1
    standard size butterfinger bar, cracked into pieces
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make cc-c-b pie (like a toll house cooky pie)

    Beat the eggs, blend in flour, then the two kinds of sugar. Stir in chips, coconut and candy chunks, add vanilla and salt.

    Spread in the base of the unbaked,thawed pie crust.

    Bake at 325 degrees for an hour. Watch it to be sure it doesn't burn, it might be brown on top and soft, but mine was done in a few minutes short of 1 hour. Cool until room temperature then cut.

    Suggested toppings: ice cream or whipped cream.
