1/2 c butter, melted
1 c plain flour
1 c chopped nuts (i use pecans)
8 oz cream cheese ,softened
1 c powdered sugar
1 large container cool whip, divided
2 small boxes of butterscotch instant pudding mix
3 c milk

My husband loves anything butterscotch. This is one recipe that he really loves and requests.

Mix butter, flour, & nuts til crumbly & press into buttered 13"x9" baking dish. Bake around 25 minutes @ 350 degrees. Keep a check on it. & cool.
Mix cream cheese & 1 cup of powdered sugar. FOLD in 1 cup of the cool whip & pour over crust.
Mix puddings and milk and spread over cheese mixture. Cover with the remaining cool whip & CHILL.
You can also use chocolate pudding.

I think you and I are cooking sisters based on your recipes and our tastes and I think your hubby and I were separated at birth with our love of butterscotch...LOL This sounds divine. I've done one similar with chocolate puddin, don't know why I never thought of doin butterscotch...or as I always say scutterbotch!

I love it too and yes we do! I'm so glad I added you as a favorite cook and started looking at all your recipes. I'm only half way done so be forwarned so you don't think I'm stalking you or something..LOL I just love to comment on things I love and enjoy or things that I really really want to try! I said "scutterbotch" when I was young and it has stuck with me my whole life.
