Apple Pie Dessert

YOUR FAVORITE DOUBLE PIE CRUST
|8||gala apples, peeled, cored, bite size pcs|
|1/2 c||chopped walnuts|

|8 oz||pkg. fat free cream cheese|
|1/2 c||semi-sweet choc. chips|
|1/4 c||white sugar|
|2 tsp||spenda brown sugar blend|

This is one of those recipes that started out as one thing and ended up in another county.
Peel, core and cut apples into small bite size pc. Add of a pan with 3 TBL of water, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugars and honey. Let simmer on very low heat while you prepare the pie crust.
Once pie crust is ready using your favorite pie crust recipe, add cream cheese and choc. chips to apple mix, mix well in pan. Pour mix into pie crust and add lattice top. TIP: place cream cheese in freezer for a short time for easier handling.
Brush lattice top with egg wash and sprinkle with white sugar. Bake 375° for 40-45 min.
