Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup, light
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice, fresh
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 2/3 cup coconut
  • 9" unbaked pie shell

How To Make ambrosia pecan pie

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, beat the eggs, corn syrup, sugars, orange juice, butter, orange peel & salt until well blended. Stir in pecans & coconut.
  • Step 2
    Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 50 - 60 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step 3
    Cover edges with foil during the last 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning if necessary. Cool on a wire rack.
