4th of July Cherry Cranberry Pie

When families gather round the table for the 4th of July gathering, this is a favorite of young and old. The flavors just burst in your mouth! Serve with a dip of vanilla ice cream if you dare!

Ingredients

1 can(s)
cherry pie filling
1 can(s)
whole cranberry sauce
1/4 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 tsp
fine grated orange zest
1/4 tsp
cinnamon
2 Tbsp
unsalted butter, cubed
double pie crust

Step-By-Step

1In a large bowl, mix together the cherry pie filling, whole cranberry sauce, sugar, lemon juice, orange zest and cinnamon. Pour into pie crust.
2Dot filling with butter and cover with top crust. Crimp edges together.
3Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 45-50 minutes. It's best to cover edges of crust with foil after the first 15 minutes of baking so they don't brown too much.
