yeast or 2 1/4 teaspoon
Mix everything in a bowl and cover, let rise for 15 minutes.
Heat oil for deep frying.
Drop mixture by tablespoon into oil and fry until golden.
Drain on paper towels or wire rack. Or you can just drop them right into powdered sugar or sugar/cinnamon.
For added varieties, you can add shredded lemon or orange rind to the mix
