A friend brought this dish to a party many years ago...I loved it..had to have the recipe..and now want to share it with you..

method Stove Top

Ingredients For taffy apple salad

15 oz

chunk pineapple
2 c

mini marshmallows
1/2 c

sugar
1 Tbsp

flour
1

well beaten egg
1 1/2 Tbsp

white vinegar
8 oz

cool whip
2 c

diced apples (macintosh)
1 c

spanish peanuts

How To Make taffy apple salad

Drain Pineapple - set aside (save juice)

Combine the pineapple juice, egg, flour, sugar, and vinegar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until it gets thick like pudding. when cooled some..place in refrigerator for about 15 minutes

Remove from refrigerator.. Add coolwhip, pineapple, apples, peanuts and marshmallows. Mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve. I'm sure your going to love it !!!
