Stevia is the only sweetener that doesn't spike the sugar in our blood so it's ok for diabetics to use. It is being used more and more in foods and now that the taste has been altered somewhat it is more palatable.

Sugar....Powdered Stevia....Liquid Stevia

1 cup sugar = 1 teaspoon powdered Stevia or
1 teaspoon liquid Stevia

1 tablespoon sugar = 1/4 teaspoon powdered Stevia or
6-9 drops liquid Stevia

1 teaspoon sugar = a pinch or 1/6th teaspoon Stevia or 2-4 drops liquid Stevia
