Splenda Condensed Milk Substitute

Husband is diabetic and loves lemon pie! What to do? Make condensed milk with Splenda! We follow the lemon pie recipe on purchased can of condensed milk and substitute this recipe for the canned milk. Tastes good with the Splenda instead of sugar. You might like to try 1/2 Splenda and 1/2 sugar as an experiment. Still good.

Ingredients

1 c
instant dry milk solids
2/3 c
splenda sugar substitute
1/3 c
boiling water
3 Tbsp
melted butter

Step-By-Step

1Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Chill. Store in refigerator until ready to use. Makes about 14 ounces or less, about the same as a purchased can of condensed milk.
2Use this recipe to substitute for condensed milk in any recipe calling for sweetened condensed milk.
