I found this recipe on Pinterest and it's a FAVORITE. Best. Brownies. Ever! Served warm with a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream and you've got a nice piece of heaven on earth! Enjoy!! (Thanks Rose...aka The Londoner) The pictures are from The Londoner blog and uses a square baking dish rather than the rectangular dish I use. PLEASE NOTE***The ingredients necessary will vary depending on the cookie dough and brownie mixes you use.

1 pkg
chocolate chip cookie mix
1 box
brownie mix
3 large
1 pkg
oreo cookies
1 tsp
vegetable oil
1 tsp

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350º. Spray 9x13 baking dish with cooking oil.
Prepare cookie dough recipe according to the package directions. Add an [extra] teaspoon of vegetable oil and an [extra] teaspoon of water to the mix as it will be in the oven longer than cookie directions. Once dough is ready, press into the bottom of the baking dish taking care to cover the entire bottom of the dish.
Layer Oreo's on top of the cookie bottom. Only one layer!
Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions. Pour the batter over the Oreo's. Bake for 30 minutes to achieve the gooey center depicted in the picture. If you prefer less goo and more chew, bake for approximately 35-40 minutes.
Let cool a bit before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite vanilla ice cream on top!

Thanks Julie! I've actually made it once with the Toll House prepared cookie dough as well. I wasn't too good at pressing it into the bottom of the pan though from the log formation. It does, however, make this recipe that much quicker, easier, and less ingredients! Thanks for sharing that tip!

I searched around and found an even easier version of this that I used to make 2 9x13 pans of these for a party (I was doing all of the food for the party so the easier things could be done the better). I sprayed the 9x13 pans with cooking spray, pressed Nestle toll house cookie dough (32oz large tube) in the bottom of the pan, covered with DOUBLE STUFF oreos, then covered that with prepared brownie batter (Duncan Hines chewy fudge brownie/family size). Baked at 350 degrees for 45 minutes (I kept checking near the end, judged done-ness by the looks around the edge....seeing that the middle tests gooey no matter what).
