Erica's Notes:

Just the right amout of orange to add to any cake or brownies.

Directions

1
In a large mixing bowl, whip the butter and cream cheese together with a hand-held electric mixer. Gradually beat in the confectioners' sugar until it is all combined and smooth.
2
Beat in the orange zest and juice. Spread over brownies or cake.

At our stores here in Minnesota our powdered sugar comes in a bag not a box. How many oz. do you need for the recipe?

Jane, my guess is 16oz on the powdered sugar and 8oz on the cream cheese. That's what I use when I make cream cheese icing. I hope this helps.

Your Orange Brownies are delicious !! This frosting recipe also goes great with chocolate brownies. Orange and chocolate together is really good. It makes a nice Halloween brownie. Thanx for the great recipes.

I make mine with lemon zest and juice. I love the taste of lemon with chocolate.
