Well...I posted the one recipe from my kitchen towels before, "Peppermint Cupcakes", and now I am getting ready to post "3" more from other kitchen towels.

I just finished posting "Mom's Special Birthday Cupcakes"

NOW am going to post "Mom's Best Bake Sale Brownies"...and the next after this one will be "Mom's Favorite After School Snickerdoodles".

I love Kitchen Towels with recipes on them.....everytime I see one, new or old, I have to get it...=;D

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter
1 c
white sugar (i use either stevia, splenda or truvia)
2
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/3 c
unsweetned cocoa powder
1/2 c
all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
baking powder

FROSTING:

3 Tbsp
butter, softened
3 tsp
unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp
honey
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
confectioners' sugar (i use homemade splenda powdered sugar)

PREHEAT OVEN 350°F

GREASE AND FLOUR AN 8" SQUARE PAN

Step-By-Step

1In a large saucepan,melt butter.
Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
2Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.
3Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
4To Make Frosting:
Combine butter, cocoa, honey, vanilla, and confectioners' sugar.
5Frost brownies while they are still warm.
