This is my husband's absolute favorite dessert to take ANYWHERE. He has the ingredients (three plus anything on the brownie mix box) memorized, so he can pick up what he needs without referring to the recipe. I have no idea where I found it, but I suspect it was a Spartan brand recipe card.
Drain cherries. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions, adding yogurt with liquid ingredients; mix well. Spoon batter into greased and sugared 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Poke cherries at random or in a pattern, as you choose, into the batter. Make sure cherries are evenly distributed.
Bake in a preheated 350*F oven 28 to 30 minutes. Do not overbake. Brownies will be moist and cannot be tested with wooden pick.
