Carol makes the best brownies which is Ina Garten's recipe. I then make my favorite German chocolate cake frosting recipe and they are delicious. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Makes 20 extra large brownies,but we cut them in half

1 1/2 cup evaporated milk
4 egg yolks,slightly beaten
1 1/3 c. sugar
3/4 cups butter
2 c sweetened ,shredded coconut
1 1/2 c chopped pecans
2 t. vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

Make outrageous brownies as directed on Carol C.'s recipe.
Topping: Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, 12 -15 ms.Remove from heat, add coconut and chopped pecans cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally.Spread over cooled brownies,cut into pieces.
