2 pkg instant french vanilla pudding
1 8 oz cool whip
saltine crackers with salt (approx. 1 1/2 stacks)
1 can(s) dark chocolate frosting

I noticed all the recipes on here for Eclair Cake are made with
graham crackers. I've always made it with Saltines and it's delicious.

Mix pudding according to directions on the box. Chill for 10 - 15 min. Add Cool Whip to pudding.

Place a layer of saltines on the bottom of a 13x9 pan. Add a layer of pudding. Add another layer of crackers and another layer of pudding. Top with a layer of crackers.

Microwave the frosting for about 30 seconds or until smooth. Spread on top of crackers. Chill for 1 hour.

Different version done with graham crackers and it comes out just like an eclair.
