Heat oven to 350. Stir cake mix, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. cloves and 1 tsp. ginger together. Melt butter and add to dry mix. Take out about a third of the mixture (set aside) and form a crust with the rest in a 13 X 9" cake pan.
Follow the pumpkin pie directions on the can of pumpkin using the eggs, evaporated milk, 1 cup of sugar and the remaining spices. Pour the mixture in the cake pan.
Mix together the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until well blended. Drop chunks of cream cheese and chunks of the reserved cake mix in the pumpkin batter. Sprinkle the mini cinnamon chips over the whole thing. Bake for approximately 90 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean, Cool and cut into 12-16 bars.
